“History is the root of craftsmanship.”

Elisabeth Boissière

150 years dedicated to perfection have made PINTON one of today’s leading names in exceptional carpets, rugs and tapestries. The pieces, hand-woven on low-warp-looms in our workshops in Felletin, have contributed to the worldwide expansion of French textile art. Since 1867 the PINTON family passion for the art of weaving has combined with its centuries-old craftsmen to forge a promising and innovative future. With excellence and creativity as its sole guiding principles, PINTON has propelled the tradition of Aubusson tapestry into modernity. Structured around two areas of activity – the PINTON Workshop dedicated to luxury decoration and PINTON Éditions, devoted to contemporary art – the family company’s international scope has quickly expanded, spreading the influence of the French art of weaving.
