“Over time, PINTON has become a guarantee of quality tied to unique craftsmanship.”
The art of Aubusson tapestry-making – of which PINTON is a custodian – is included on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List for its exceptional craftsmanship and art of weaving. Embodied in every product woven in our workshops, this intangible heritage possesses exceptional conservation properties, which enable the transmission of this rich heritage across many generations. From the first sketch to the completed work, each new collaboration in contemporary creation leads to a symbiosis between tapestry designers and artists, who work together to produce an original piece that is never simply a copy of a pre-existing artwork.
