Born 60 years ago, the Milan International Furniture Fair has become a key event in the world of interior design. With 210,000 m2 of exhibition space and more than 2,300 exhibitors, it can boast of bringing together the greatest designers and the biggest brands in design and furnishings. For this anniversary edition, which is being held exceptionally from 7 to 12 June instead of April, the show is focusing on sustainability. A commitment that is central to the concerns of all the actors of this sector. Guests will be presenting significant progress made in the past years around this theme.
This year, PINTON, is presenting its Verdures collection, woven entirely in Jacquard. Visitors will also discover the collection of fabrics also in Jacquard that Pierre Gonalons has designed for the house. Finally, PINTON will exhibit one of its Haute-Couture rugs, Encyclie, designed by Ulrika Liljedahl, as well as a tapestry created by the painter and visual artist Laïna Hadengue. A fine programme for an edition that promises to be joyful, after two years at half-mast, due to the pandemic.
