Cyrielle Hanquiez

Cyrielle Hanquiez is a young textile and materials designer from Provence, a graduate from ENSAD, the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris. Fascinated by Southern influences, she particularly enjoys drawing as well exploring graphic and colourful compositions. As a 3rd year student in the Textile and Materials Design course, Cyrielle Hanquiez took part in the competition organised by PINTON with ENSAD in 2018. This competition allowed the students to design a project of rug. The best three candidates were invited to create a full scale sample of their project and the winner was given the opportunity to have her rug produced by the manufactory.

This competition gave the students of ENSAD the opportunity to gain some experience in a near professional environment, working with a Living Heritage Company. As for PINTON, working with young designers and artists proved particularly stimulating and provided an overview of tomorrow’s talents.
