Alice Billaud

Alice Billaud is a textile designer and ceramist. She is graduating from the Arts Décoratifs de Paris School in 2019. As a freelancer, she works for a number of companies, creating designs, models and colors for Pierre Frey, Maison Sarah Lavoine, Peugeot, Hermès and Chantelle.

In 2020, in parallel with her textile activity, she created her ceramic brand, Tibli Studio located in the XXth arrondissement of Paris. She creates unique pieces dedicated to tableware and interior design. Lines intersect, curves intertwine and colors overlap, directly echoing textile design and highlighting the work of materials, weaving and prints

In her creative process, Alice Billaud is particularly interested in the non-human, in our relationship with the living, in what is almost invisible, in what is so small that we ignore it or refuse to see it. Inspired by organic forms, microscopic and macroscopic views, Alice explores this fragile balance, in which everyone plays an essential role. Alice collaborated with Pinton to create a rug that is a tribute to lush nature, to the intertwining webs of branches and roots that grow in the shade of foliage in the undergrowth.
