Clémentine Chambon

Born in Nîmes, Clémentine Chambon is a graduate of Ecole Boulle and ENSCI – Les Ateliers (École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle) where she developed a passion for light. She rapidly established herself as an unusual designer, mixing polyester and fibreoptic in a piece that placed her firmly on the map. With an insatiable appetite for exploring and playing with light, and wishing to continue her near magical experiments, she dedicated several years to textile as a light-source, travelling all over the world.

Later she turned to paper, a more fragile material but just as pregnant with extraordinary possibilities. Today, returning to her love of painting, she is bringing her vision to the textile industry. Intrigued by this hunger for creation and experimentation, PINTON invited Clémentine CHAMBON to collaborate on the creation of carpets.
