Thierry Duru

Thierry Duru is a major figure of French textile and surface design. Boldness is distinctive trait of his creations and expresses itself through his lavish drawings and use of colours, and the multitude of objects that he appropriates. Ever surprising in his choice of themes and patterns, his work is exceptional and unique. His passion and his textile expertise led him to diversify his creations and explore different areas, from fashion to interior design, decorative arts and tapestry.

Thierry Duru is established in Nîmes where he has been working since 1998 as a freelance designer for companies who all share a taste for his singular vision and his unusual pieces.
Cheeky but not eccentric, playing with the codes of his trade while complying with them, he is one of the boldest designers to collaborate with PINTON.
